Noise test is performed shooting GretagMacbeth ColorChecker and then analyzing the results with Imatest software.

Results

This test points out a low noise level up to 1,600 ISO. What surprised us is that noise at ISO 800 is less than noise at ISO 100. Minimum noise level is recorded at ISO 200. At ISO 3,200 noise is 50 % more than at ISO 1,600. Dynax 7D noise level is definitely lower than in Canon Eos 350D's at at sensibility except for ISO 100. Temperature during the test was 24.4 °C.
